Terms and Conditions

Dear Valued Customer,

 

We appreciate your interest in booking our services for your upcoming event. To ensure a smooth and efficient booking process, we have implemented the following policy regarding deposits and cancellations:

 

 

Booking Policies

1. Deposit Requirement:

A £50 deposit for cakes under £500 and a £100 deposit for cakes over £500 is required to secure your booking. This deposit is necessary to reserve our services and guarantee availability for your event.

2. Non-Refundable Deposit:

Please note that the deposit is non-refundable. Once paid, the deposit cannot be refunded under any circumstances, including cancellations or rescheduling.

3. Cake Alterations Policy:

Any changes to your cake design will be accepted 3 weeks prior to the collection date. Changes to cake flavour will be accepted a week prior. After this time changes may incur a charge

5. Rescheduling:

If you wish to reschedule your event, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss availability. We will make every effort to accommodate your request, subject to availability, and any changes will be subject to the same deposit and cancellation policies outlined above.

6. Payment of Balance:

The remaining balance is required to be paid latest a week before the event date for wedding cakes. For all other orders the remaining balance of your booking must be made before or upon collection.

8. Exceptions:

Exceptions to these policies may be made in extenuating circumstances, but such decisions will be at the discretion of Hunny Cakes and will be communicated to you in writing.

 

Additional Policies

1. Allergen Handling Policy:

Please be advised that while we take utmost care in preparing our desserts, our kitchen handles a variety of ingredients, including allergens such as nuts, dairy, gluten, etc. We advise caution for customers with allergies or dietary restrictions.

2. Collection and Refund Policy:

Once you collect your desserts from our premises, they are no longer under our control. As such, we cannot issue refunds or accept responsibility for any damage or dissatisfaction that may occur after the desserts have left our possession. We recommend transporting and storing the desserts properly to maintain their quality and freshness. For optimal transportation, we advise customers to securely place cakes and dessert boxes flat in the footwell of their car to minimise movement and ensure stability during transit.

3. Dessert Table Service Policy:

For customers booking our dessert table service, the deposit is refundable only when all items are returned in their original condition. Any damages exceeding the deposit amount will be the responsibility of the customer and may result in additional charges.

4. Stand Hire Policy:

We offer cake stands for hire to enhance the presentation of your desserts. There is a £100 refundable deposit for this service. 

Please carefully review these policies before proceeding with your booking. By making a deposit payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these terms and conditions.
